Tanmoy Samanta (born 1973), took his Masters in Fine Arts from Kala Bhavana, Santiniketan in 1996. He received the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Award, New York, the National Scholarship, Govt. of India and was artist-in-residence at Kanoria Centre for the Arts, Ahmedabad. His solo show was held at Gallery Espace, New Delhi.
