Born in 1974, Nikita Parikh studied Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts (MFA). She has participated in several Group Shows all over India and has had Solo Shows in Ahmedabad, Baroda and Mumbai. She received the Navdeep Prathisthan Award from the Gujarat Lalit Kala Akademi and the AIFACS Award as well. She was also invited to participate in the 9th International Drawing Biennale at Taipei. She lives and works in Ahmedabad.
