Born in 1940, Jyotsna Bhatt studied Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda, and Ceramics at Brooklyn Museum Art School, New York, USA. She taught Ceramics at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda, and was also instrumental in setting up Ceramic Centre in Baroda. She has participated in prestigious Group Shows, Workshops and Artists’ Camps all over the world and has also had numerous Solo Shows of her Ceramics. She continues to live and work in Baroda.
