CHINTAN UPADHYAY was born in 1972. He completed his MFA in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU, Baroda in 1997. He has had a number of solo shows including Conker’s Installation at Spike Island, Bristol, UK, 2004; Ashish Balram Nagpal Gallery 2004&2. He has participated in various group shows in Centre for Art and Cultural Chiksarda, Transilvania, Romania, 2005; Palette Art Gallery, New Delhi, 2004; CIMA Art Gallery, Calcutta, 2004-3 and Ivan Dougherty Gallery, Sydney Australia, 2003. He lives and works in Mumbai.
