BOSE KRISHNAMACHARI was born in 1962 he completed his Diploma in Art, Kerala Kala Peetom, Cochin, 1984-1985; Degree in Fine Arts, Sir J. J. Schools of Art, Bombay 1986-91 and MA in Fine Arts - Goldsmiths College - London 1999-00. he has had a number of solo shows including 'Field Sakshi' Sakshi Gallery. Bombay, 1999 and 'Amuseum Memoirs' National Gallery of Modern Art, Bombay 1999. He has participated in various group shows including Indian Contemporary Art, Los Angeles organized by Saffron Art and Apparao Galleries 2001, Tribute to Picasso, Guild, Art Gallery, Bombay 2002. Bose recently curated ‘Double Enders’ a traveling exhibition of Kerala Artists in Mumbai, Delhi, and Cochin in 2005. He is the recipient of Charles Wallace (India) Award 1999, Mid America Arts Alliance Award International Fellowship, USA, 1993 and a Gold Medal, Sir J.J. School of Art 1991. He lives and works in Mumbai.
