Trained in the art, first with Mansimran Singh at the Delhi Blue Pottery and then with Ray Meeker and Deborah Smith at the Golden Bridge Pottery, Pondicherry, Amrita has been practising her art for 20 years. Her work has seen many transitions. She set up a studio with fellow potters, Priya Powar and Enakshi Lall, at a farm on the outskirts of Bangalore.
