Abir Patwardhan was born in 1977 studied at Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University (Sculpture, B.F.A 1999, M.F.A. 2001. In 1998 he was an exchange student at Ecole des Beaux Arts, Caen , Normandie, France. Solo Exhibitions: Malaka Spice, Pune (2003), HSBC Art Gallery Inauguration(2001). Select Group Shows: Indiaart Gallery, Pune(2004), Express Botanical Gardens(2004), Traveling exhibition Jiyo Hazaron Saal(2004), Architects and Artists, Cymroza, Mumbai(2001), Charak, Nehru Centre, Mumbai(1999). He has worked with traditional copper beaters and apprenticed with Mr.Volker Bauer, Berlin and P.Daroz, New Delhi.
